Paper made from the internodes of Phragmites australis serves as an origami boat for the spread of seeds from marsh plants native to the Chesapeake Bay.
I discovered this little gem one day while researching papermaking and wild inks. It is absolutely brilliant and one of the highlights of my year. Seriously. Not only is this a beautiful and moving tribute to native plants, it also speaks to me of transition, impermanence and ... hope. I love the music as well. I wish it was available for purchase. I could happily listen to this all day long. Thank you! The world needs more of this...
